Pornography may very well be the last “PC Free Zone” in the United States. For those of you who live outside of the US, let me explain that “political correctness” has become the touchstone upon which we are building our brave new world. In a nutshell, the advocates of political correctness want to be sure that we do nothing in either word or deed that could be construed as offensive to anyone. Of particular importance to the PC gang is any and all references to physical determinations. We must not say “fat”; we must say “heavy” or, better-yet, “weight-challenged”. Midgets and dwarfs are no more. They are little people or – you guessed it – “height-challenged”. There can be no outright statement of fact (unless you are patronizing the individual) regarding height, color of skin, accent, racial background, hair color, size of nose, width of feet, amount of hair remaining, size of backsides or anything else that could remotely be considered “inappropriate:. To describe someone as a short, oriental woman is offensive – to the PC mind – on at least 3 accounts.
Porn, on the other hand, relishes the differences between us. That’s because our sexual preferences are often determined by those visible, physical characteristics. Most obviously, some folks like women, other prefer men and another group doesn’t much care either way. Some guys like BBW’s (Big Beautiful Women. aka Fat… um, weight-challenged Girls), others like girls with only the smallest of breasts, others don’t even notice their chests as long as they have lots of hair.
Having said all that, it occurred to me when I saw the picture to the left that there is very little “black” porn. Black guys with white women – now that’s a different story. But black on black seems to be in scarce supply. I am sure that some of you will write to point out various production houses that specialize in that sort of thing, and I know they exist; but overall the percentage of that material is pretty small.
