I get tired of reading how the porn industry is filled with abused and neglected girls suffering form self-esteem issues as a result of conflicts with their parents and lack of better opportunities because of their limited education. That same description could apply to the thousands of women who work at Wal-Mart, fast food joints, convenience stores, truck stops, factories and – for all I know – legal firms. Yes, a lot of messed up girls wind up in porn. The vast majority were messed up long before they got there.
Others wind up in porn because they want to. They are smart enough to know that the industry can reward them with large dollars, and a pretty good time. Think of the women who have used porn to give themselves a pretty good lifestyle on their own terms.
