We normally focus on the adult movies produced in the X-Rated 80′s, but there was more to classic porn that what we saw at the porn theater or on the betamax.  There was still a lot of porn in print.  Magazines like Penthouse, Hustler and High Society may have been the norm with their solo girl and softcore, simulated sex pictures, but there were hardcore rags available at your local adult bookstore.  Hardcore magazines have fallen out of favor in recent years, but back in the day, your local smut shop was full of them.  Some were obscure titles that handled rare fetishes, others were well-known, producing first-rate porn with good looking women in extreme hardcore action. Some companies, like Rodox and Color Climax, produced print versions of the short 8mm films they produced.   That way, even if you didn’t own a projector, you could still take home a piece of the action.
