Other than the fact that girl number two has spent a bizillion dollars on the stylist that does her hair, the two really do look a good bit alike. Now HERE is the important distinction. One became famous by exploiting her body and looks in order to work her way into the entertainment industy, fueling the fantasies of millions of young (and not so young) men in the United State and around the world. Oh wait, that describes both of them again, doesn’t it?
Seriously the difference is that Farrah Fawcett, the star of T&A TV, bathing suit posters and teenage fantasies went on to post-Angels fame as pretty good actress, not just a pretty face. We all wish her well in her health-related battles these days.
Girl number one, of course, is Rhonda Jo Petty. Bob Chinn, the porn producer who tried marketing Rhonda as “the Farrah Fawcett” look alike was sued by Fawcett and her people. So although you couldn’t officially notice the similarities, you couldn’t hardly miss them.
